HVAC installers

HVAC installers, helpers and foreman. We have 5 new multiyear HVAC projects starting in February. These projects are in Pennsylvania, South Jersey and Delaware. Some prevailing rate work on Army Base.

Looking for foreman who can run large commercial projects as well as mechanics and helpers. Work consists of sheet metal, piping and control work. Knowledge of one or all of these skills is required. Any other construction and or HVAC skills beneficial.

Duties

  • review drawings for best and most efficient installation practices

  • schedule delivery of materials in a timely manner

  • support foreman in the field

  • supervise quality

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction crews

  • Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks.

  • Review and interpret blueprints and project specifications to guide work processes.

  • Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.

  • Utilize piping and fabrication tools and troubleshooting as required.

  • Manage project contracts, ensuring adherence to terms and conditions.

  • Collaborate with project managers on budgeting and resource allocation.

  • Implement safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.

  • Excellent blueprint reading skills for accurate interpretation of plans.

  • Knowledgeable in quality control processes to uphold high standards of workmanship.

Pay: $25.00 - $75.00 per hour

HVAC GENERAL PIPING MANAGER/FOREMAN

This is a higher-level position for someone with significant piping experience who can lead and help build a team of piping installers and fabricators.. They will be working on the projects when they start the position. As the workload picks up their time would be split between working and supervising the shop and field.

The ideal candidate has been in the business a minimum of 10 years with significant piping experience in the field and or shop. They will have the opportunity and be tasked with building their team. They should have experience in copper, steel and plastic piping including brazing and welding.  AutoCAD, Trimble and other high-level program experience is desirable but not necessary.

They could be a lead foreman looking to move up at the present time and or a general manager/foreman.

This is a highly compensated position as you will be part of the leadership team.

  • Utilize software tools such as AutoCad, Outlook, Excel , Procore for project management and documentation.

Skills

  • Proficient in project scheduling techniques to optimize workflow.

  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment used in pipeline projects.

  • Excellent blueprint reading skills for accurate interpretation of plans.

  • Knowledgeable in quality control processes to uphold high standards of workmanship.

  • Familiarity with budgeting practices to effectively manage project costs.

  • Experience with contract management to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

  • Ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
